We are an internationally oriented mechanical engineering company with around 180 employees at our Heidenheim site and subsidiaries in the USA, China, Singapore, Italy and Mexico. For our international customer base, we develop and build rotary unions for heating and cooling rollers for process supply in the machine tool, chemical, plastics, nonwovens, paper, food, pharmaceutical and textile industries, as well as in the renewable energy sector. Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

Area of responsibility:

• Further development of the existing IT security agenda
• Conception, creation and improvement of security architectures based on a modern IT infrastructure
• Identification, analysis and classification of potential IT security vulnerabilities and initiation of countermeasures
• Administration and further development of deployed and future IT security tools, collaboration on the optimization of IT systems and processes
• Administration and operation of our network, server and storage infrastructure
• Support in daily IT operations

What you bring - your profile:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on computer science or IT security or comparable training
• Incident response, business continuity management and project management are no foreign words
• Professional experience in the specialist areas of cyber security, monitoring, incident management and system administration
• Experience in Microsoft server and client operating systems, networks i.V.m. Hardening of infrastructures
• Initial experience in log and cloud management / EDR / XDR / SIEM or vulnerability management / penetration testing is desirable
• Analytical thinking, independent, reliable work, very good written and spoken German and English skills
