Geotab is seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Manager who will be responsible for building and executing lifecycle marketing automation campaigns and initiatives to drive increased lead generation and conversions to opportunities. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!What you'll do: As a Senior Marketing Automation Manager your key area of responsibility will be to join as an integral player on the marketing team, responsible for the marketing automation strategy and platform while working closely with other marketing functions and commercial teams to implement all programmatic and operational initiatives. This position will work closely with Digital Marketing and Product Marketing teams to assess opportunities for leveraging other platforms to deliver full lifecycle engagement across the entire prospect, customer, and partner journey.To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts.How you'll make an impactOwn the entire marketing automation process including ensuring that all processes operate effectively and efficiently; supporting teammates and inspiring them; removing roadblocks for them, and helping them find a fast path to success.Partner with the broader marketing team to build out the customer and partner acquisition journey's marketing automation roadmap, and influence the content strategy to develop a healthy funnel of sales-ready leads.Build automated campaigns, sequences, triggers, templates, and segmentation through email, push notifications, and/or in-app/in-product messaging to drive conversion, product adoption, retention, upsell/cross-sell, and value creation.Develop and execute email marketing and nurture tracks including continuous testing, experimentation, deployment and monitoring.Build and execute nurture campaigns to attract, engage, and convert prospects into customers.Ensure 100% of eligible prospects are assigned and part of a marketing nurture journey.Work with marketing counterparts in Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, and regional teams to build and optimize marketing automation and nurture tracks based on persona, segment, and interest area.Continuously improve Marketing Automation implementation by integrating and gathering insights from all relevant internal and external data sources.Recommend and implement A/B testing on email and nurture campaigns to establish the most effective email content.Oversee and continuously review Geotab's subscriber, segmentation, suppression lists, email calendar and frequency across all audiences, and ensure that all subscribers and email lists include individual preferences for customization and optimization.Maintain Marketing Automation integration with Salesforce CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.Work with marketing management to define KPAs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement of campaigns.Monitor and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.Create email reporting dashboards analyzing campaign performance to provide performance transparency to stakeholders and drive actionable recommendations.Provide project leadership and guidance to the team as Marketing Automation subject matter expert and serve as the de facto expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, automation process, deliverability, and email marketing best practices.Identify and develop opportunities to improve processes to gain efficiencies for the marketing automation team's workflow and implement process changes.What you'll bring to the roleBachelors in a related field (Marketing)Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted.3-5 years experience in marketing strategy, campaign execution, campaign automation.5-7 years experience in marketing, with familiarity of B2B marketing to enterprise businesses.5+ years experience in Marketing Automation or a similar role in the B2B technology industry.Demonstrated familiarity of B2B marketing to enterprise businesses.Successful ownership and execution of Marketing Automation strategy.Extensive experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new strategies, moving fast and taking ownership of results.Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices.Strong knowledge of lead generation, campaign delivery, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation implementation best practices.If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role!
