Position Overview : The Senior Accounts Associate will be responsible for managing company accounts, preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, planning and advisory, and handling bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in balance sheet preparation, bank payments and reconciliations, and proficiency in Tally software. Additionally, expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required to assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports and presentations. Key Responsibilities : Company Account Management :

  • Oversee and manage the company's daily financial activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of all financial documents.
Financial Statements :
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
Tax Compliance, Planning, and Advisory :
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (GST, income tax, etc.).
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies.
  • Provide advisory services on tax-related matters to optimize tax liabilities.
Balance Sheet Experience :
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheets.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Provide detailed reports on balance sheet items.
Tally Software :
  • Utilize Tally software for accounting and financial management.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in Tally.
  • Generate financial reports from Tally as required.
Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint :
  • Create detailed financial reports and analysis using MS Excel.
  • Develop compelling financial presentations using MS PowerPoint.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
Bank Payments and Reconciliations :
  • Process and monitor all bank payments.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
Bookkeeping :
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and categorized.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (CA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Tally software.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
