My client is one of the world’s leading financial services institutions. They are looking for a Transfer Agency Assistant Manager – Projects to join their team based in the Dublin office. Role: Ensuring a consistent excellent level of client service, new business implementation, and new fund setup, and to identify & contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. A focus on risk control, change management, and adherence to local and group requirements and regulations is required. Responsibilities:

  • Manage high profile client relationships from an Investor Services perspective by engaging with the Clients and developing relationships with them.
  • Work closely with the Business implementation team to ensure the successful onboarding and launch of new funds and products within our remit in Transfer agency.
  • Attend new business project calls and take ownership of TA responsibilities.
  • Attend new business meetings for existing clients seeking to set up new funds. Review documentation and application forms for completeness to ensure that service identified can be delivered.
  • Accurately review and analyze requirements, client prospectus, and supplements in the setup of new Funds and Share classes.
  • Management and oversight of Business Implementation to ensure work is of the highest quality standards.
  • Participate in project calls and distribute clear dashboards on key milestones achieved/challenges.
  • Ensure project work assigned is completed timely and accurately.
  • Sponsor a program of continuous improvement to mitigate risks, eliminate inefficiencies, and/or improve client experiences and in order to support the build out of capacity and scale within the team.
  • Implement the Ireland internationalization of the TA operations with specific focus on building our IOC (Offshore location) to help support our future growth ensuring targets and budgets are achieved.
  • Consider/develop options to enhance/re-engineer/streamline process flows.
  • Support and drive new product enhancements, develop best practices, and support the build out of capacity and scale within the organization.
  • Ensure understanding of regulatory changes and coordinate implementation (as applicable) to your unit and the wider team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 4-6 years experience in Fund Administration with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
  • Third level qualification (financial services related is preferable).
  • Fund Setup and Business implementation experience.
  • Project Management skills are nice to have.
  • Experience of a variety of fund types – e.g. Mutual, Offshore, Irish domiciled, Limited Partnership, Private Equity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Transfer Agency life-cycle, including AML.
  • Hard working Team Player who likes to work within and contribute to an organizational team structure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: ability to adapt to and work within a dynamic changing environment.
  • Strong Numerical, Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Keen awareness of Client Service standards.
  • Change Management.
  • Relationship Management skills are nice to have.
