Airswift is seeking a Lead Planner (Commissioning) to work with our client based in Qatar.

Job Purpose

Oversight, monitoring and verification of contractor's schedule, schedule performance, progress measurement and reporting. Develop KPIs by extracting information from contractor's reports and deliverables to aid decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction, alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry

Minimum of 10 years of major EPC project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry

Good knowledge of LNG commissioning

Experience in Primavera P6 scheduling tools, Power BI, advanced Excel

Knowledge of working with large construction data to produce KPIs

Expert knowledge of developing schedules; understanding of baseline, actual and forecast plans and progress data

Knowledge of WBS and rules of credit for progress measurement in all phases of project

Team player, flexible, and experienced in working in a diverse team environment

Highly numerate and effective in challenging contractor's data

Responsibilities

Provide and maintain pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule.

Ensure that every update in commissioning sequence is properly captured and reflected in commissioning schedule.

Ensure proper integration of pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule to EPC1 Level 3 Schedule.

Highlight and communicate any change in pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule that is impacting the overall EPC1 Level 3 Schedule to line managers, other Project EPC1 Lead Planners, and other concerned parties.

Monitor closely the progress of construction and readiness for pre-commissioning.

Highlight any delay in construction that may impact pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Responsible for overseeing contractor's pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule, KPIs, interfaces, and weekly and monthly reporting and advising potential schedule issues and providing guidance on corrective actions and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.

Regular progress monitoring by liaising with site commissioning management team and contractors' teams in all commissioning areas.

Development of KPIs by using construction data for efficient tracking of all site construction activities.

Analyze schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.

Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to schedule, progress, KPIs, and reports.

Facilitate periodic meetings with contractors to review schedule and progress and report to EPC-1 Head of Planning and Data Analysis Reporting Specialist.

Review contractor's construction progress, productivity, manpower, quantities on a weekly basis and produce KPIs for PMT review.

Adhere to Company project procedures and periodically review and improve.

Liaise regularly with the engineering and procurement team to monitor alignment with critical deliverables and the expediting reports and commissioning schedule.

Review EPC Contractor's progress reports; verify and endorse claimed progress.

Review and endorse schedule and progress baselines and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor.

Review EPC Contractor's project control procedures (home office and field control procedures) to ensure that Company's requirements are being met.
