Purchasing Specialist (Freight & Logistics)

We are searching for a Self-motivated and hands on person, with excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with different hierarchical levels, who will be responsible for Procurement Category of Freight & Logistics management of our company! Key responsabilities:

• Category strategy (Supplier landscape, sustainalibity, BCP, etc)
• Category view (align with global Category leaders in our company global vision)
• Market screening (Market sizing, alternative sources, top Suppliers, innovation, sustainability, etc)
• Sourcing strategy (Contracting model definition, pricing model, etc)
• Contract management (Contract length definition, commercial & payment terms, volumes, commitments, etc)
• Stakeholder management (needs, priorities, constraints, concerns, etc)
• Supplier relationship management – SRM (QBRs, OTIF, scorecard, action plan, meetings, etc)
• Lead productivity projects (SCA initiatives) engaging other areas such as Finance, Supply chain and PMO

• Written and spoken fluency in English
• Written and spoken advanced level in Spanish
• Knowledge in advanced negotiation technics and strategic sourcing methodology
• Strong knowledge of Warehousing & Logistics key performance indicators
• Transportation Category proven experience (3rd part, FTL, LTL, bulk freight, last mile, etc)
• Experienced in Warehouse services negotiation (forklift, waste disposal, pallets, etc)
• Knowledge in 3PL Warehouse cost drivers (handling, picking, consolidation, repacking, etc)
• Experience in Risk analysis and transport insurance

• Proven knowledge of the main freight modals rate benchmarking (road, ocean and air)
• Knowledge in Terminal storage modals, taxes benefits and INCOTERMS
• Experience in SAP, Coupa and WMS platforms
• Connected and aware of sustainable initiatives
