Engineer/Senior Engineer - BT Testing

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world-class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans. Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

1. This position is for Bluetooth Test group for Qualcomm Connectivity Group.
2. Candidate will be actively involved in Automation and Testing of Bluetooth chipsets.
3. The role involves automating features and testing Bluetooth Qualcomm chipset.
4. The candidate will get exposure to BT/WLAN/Coex modules of Qualcomm connectivity solution.
5. The candidate will work on futuristic products for Wearables, IOE markets.
6. Candidate will be actively involved in supporting the existing automation framework through feature additions, enhancements and maintenance.
7. The candidate will closely work with Development team and cross-functional teams to deliver quality deliverable which goes to customers following well-established QA processes.

1. Experience: 1-6 years
2. Good knowledge of Bluetooth(BDR/EDR) and BLE.
3. Very strong debugging/problem solving experience using network analyzers (Frontline, Ellysis) and other relevant tools.
4. Experience in BT technology - protocol feature testing, system optimization (Throughput, CPU and battery current), and BT certification.
5. Have good knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy and having Testing experience of same, familiar with Bluetooth 5.0 features.
6. Good knowledge of Bluetooth profile like AVRCP, PBAP, A2DP, HFP, OPP, PAN, A2DP SINK.
7. Bluetooth low energy Test experience is preferred.
8. Strong experience and proficiency in python programming or any other scripting language.
