Proposal Engineer

Proposal and Tendering Engineer/ Deputy Manager Location : Gurgaon Reporting : This position shall be reporting to BD and Sales Head Job function : Transmission and Distribution Role: As a Proposal Engineer, you will be working under the BD and Sales Manager (Transmission and Distribution) and expected to take up the responsibility of the Proposal and tendering engineer Your Job function: Tendering

• Identify tender opportunities through secondary / primary research in the market and participate in tenders.
• Critical analysis of the tender qualification requirement and assessing the best projects / CV’s to be highlighted to ensure selection.Overall bid preparation including the division of responsibilities between the participating entities (if applicable), organisation chart and CV’s of key personnel, in coordination with the BD / Product teams.
• Familiarity with Government tender portals for submission of various tenders e.g. GEM, Eprocure etc.
• Preparation of tender queries and attending pre-bid queries.
• Coordination with HR and finance department for sourcing of CVs and proposal EMDs.
• Pre and Post Tender customer discussions, Due diligence, competition Mapping,
• Assisting in assessment of competition for various target tenders, trend analysis of competitors pricing.
• Assisting in arranging data through business intelligence for estimation of most competitive Bidding. Analysis of secondary data.
• Maintaining proposal database and MIS for management reporting purposes.

• Coordination with Client for proposal related clarifications and timely submission of various proposals.
• Good Liaison skills within the organisation and Business area.
• Arranging credentials by forming JVs and alliances with other suitable companies / organizations. Interfacing with industry members and cultivating relations with them for securing business.

• Candidate should have minimum Five (5) years of experience in preparation of proposal, CVs, formatting, maintaining database and submission of proposal on GEM portal, Eprocure and other online tender portals.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2. 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in sales and tendering.
3. Experience of working in varied geographies will be preferred.
4. Should be a go getter with a positive teamwork and collaboration culture.
