About the job: General Practitioner Title:
- General Practitioner (GP)
- Kuwait City, Kuwait
- Healthcare/Medical
- Bachelor's degree in medicine (MBBS)
- 5+ years of experience (after internship)
- Valid MoH License as a GP (for candidates within Kuwait)
- For candidates applying outside of Kuwait, should be eligible to have a medical license as per the Kuwait MOH
- Should have a valid medical license from your home country as GP
- Examine patients for illness or injury, plan, provide treatment in the form of medicines and therapies, and refer them to specialist providers if necessary
- Conduct physical examinations, tests, or procedures to diagnose patients
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Make recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients' quality of life
- Prescribe medication, treatment, or therapy to patients
- Explain test results and medical procedures to patients
- Train junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Consult with other doctors about the specialized needs of some patients
