MWD Repair and Maintenance Specialist: Al Ahmadi

Job Summary

Service company background of MWD/LWD tool repair and maintenance to apply the latest standard levels of maintenance in different tools configurations.

Responsibilities

1. Tool Repair and maintenance referenced to the latest released manuals.
2. Work order issuance and completion overtrack a tool.
3. Identify the required parts for different service levels with different tool configurations.
4. Tool preparation for field with all related protocols and Certificates completion.
5. Tool loading/unloading.
6. Negotiate the tool issues and findings with engineering when tools come back from job or serviced in shop and create, update, follow up a Jira ticket.
7. Online troubleshooting.
8. Reimaging PCs, Installing special standalone programs and software.
9. Updating the firmware of electronic drilling recorders.
10. Tools Field training, installation, and commissioning.
11. Keep a track of Inventory to smoothly manage the upcoming jobs.
12. Working closely with other NOV personnel both within and outside the department, to maximize the delivery values to the customers.

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

Essential:

1. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent.
2. More than 5 years experience with service company background.
3. MWD/LWD Maintenance.
4. Downhole memory Data analysis.
5. Field Experience.
6. English language.
7. Flexibility to travel.
