Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Manager for Indirect Materials will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of all indirect materials and services required by the hospital. This role involves ensuring that all procurement activities align with the hospital's strategic objectives, maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect materials, including office supplies, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), IT equipment, and other non-medical supplies.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and establish a robust supplier base.
Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and ensure procurement aligns with operational requirements.
Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends.#J-18808-Ljbffr
