Job details
Our client is on the hunt for a Cloud SRE Engineer, ideally with experience in Snowflake, Streamsets, dbt, Immuta and/or Azure. However, if your security and cloud fundamentals are robust, specific tool experience is not essential. This role offers an initial 6-month contract. What you'll do:
- You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and operability of services.
- Your role will involve troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- You will be expected to automate routine tasks using scripts and scheduling tools.
- You will contribute to system design consultations.
- You will collaborate with other team members to develop best practices and service performance standards.
- You will participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Proven experience as a Cloud SRE Engineer or similar role is required.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Streamsets, dbt, Immuta and/or Azure would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of security principles and cloud fundamentals is essential.
- Experience with scripting languages and automation tools is necessary.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues is required.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills are needed.
