Operational Technology Engineer

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence. Your expertise in SCADA, GIS systems, and network management will be key to maintaining and improving our clients' OT applications. Your Role: As our OT Engineer, you'll be the cornerstone of our OT systems’ stability and performance. You’ll lead efforts to reduce risks, prevent outages, and defend against cyber threats. Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining and automating OT networks
2. Providing technical support for SCADA and network protection devices
3. Managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance
4. Leading OT network projects to meet safety, cost, and quality objectives
5. Overseeing documentation and ensuring adherence to standards

What You’ll Bring:

1. NZDE or BE in Electrical, IT, or Telecommunications, or equivalent
2. 4+ years of experience with SCADA/GIS systems
3. Knowledge of GE PowerOn SCADA and Smallworld/Electric Office GIS
4. Experience in electricity distribution
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, DevOps tools, and scripting languages
6. Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, Python
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to get on with people from all walks of life!
