The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation. The Demand Planner is responsible for improving the forecast accuracy at the national as well as branch level so that the right stock is procured on time and made available to customers. This is achieved by utilizing tools such as Syncron to monitor demand transactions and taking timely actions to avoid the risk of run out. There is a need for continuous stakeholder alignment to understand the business and market needs to keep the stock healthy.What you will do:Review and process Back-to-Back orders with suppliers.Ensure orders are sent to the supplier and confirmation on receipt of orders.Ensure orders are dispatched within the agreed lead time.Monitor and follow up on the back orders.Conduct risk assessment and mitigation of bulk ordered quantities.Review pending orders overdue for delivery and communicate with vendors to ask about the delays in supply.Ensure on-time delivery of available stock to the customers.Provide ETD/ETA information to customers on back orders.Review Technical and Campaign Parts and Order Proposals.Recall and Redistribution Order Processing and Follow up.Monitor Auto Replenishment orders.Review and ensure availability of stocked parts at branches.Follow up on service level with respective branch representatives.Required skills to be successful:Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems & Supply chain modules in other ERP systems like SAP.Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/MS Projects).Demonstrated experience developing management reporting packs and presenting to senior leadership.Skilled in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.About The Team:The role will report to the Operations Manager and you will be working in a busy Parts Distribution Center located in Dubai Investment Park.What Equips You For The Role:Bachelors/ Master's in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.Around 5 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, preferably with Automotive experience.About Al-Futtaim Automotive:A major division of the UAE-based Al-Futtaim Group of companies, Al-Futtaim Automotive is an industry leader with a presence in 10 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
