Key Accountabilities:
Having health and safety as the first priority on a daily basis.Responsible for ensuring all materials are received as per the required specifications and issued according to the Company procedures.
Daily Activities:Verify the materials receipt/issuance against the drawings.Create coded/non-coded material requests after checking the inventory files, ensuring maximum utilization of excess materials.Report to Foreman - Material with all requested and excess materials status and follow up for the non-available materials.Maintain the records of material receipt and issuance details.Ensure proper storage and housekeeping in the material storage area by ensuring proper segregation.Assist Foreman - Material in ensuring inventory update and proper usage of excess materials.Conduct quality checks of materials received prior to signing the receipt documents.Assist Foreman - Material in providing alternative proposals to utilize non-moving/excess items to be more cost-effective.
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
Computer Literate (Good working knowledge of MS Excel & ERP applications)
Good understanding of isometrics/BOM/Arrangement drawings and material grades.
Higher secondary school/Graduate or diploma in engineering.
Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of piping material grades.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
