Role holder is assigned to achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure strong presence.Core ResponsibilitiesSupervision of SubordinatesManages the team to Increase productivity and enhance AcquisitionOrganises and supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner and in alignment with SOP guidelines.Provides on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.Ensure that team members are always up to date on product features and promotions.Business DevelopmentOwn objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of BDU leaders & BDU officersBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needsIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusDevelop and maintain operational guidelines for staffsResponsible for tracking the sales leads and achievements for his/her respective team.Provide regular feedback to the team leaders for any poor performance in his team and recommend the required actions.Work closely with the head of Business Development to ensure the business targets are achievedImplements departmental policies, systems, and procedure as per SOP guidelinesCarrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies andapplicable laws; this includes planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices.Ensure that all team members adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Code of Conduct and Service Standards of the bank and initiate appropriate disciplinary action for any violations noted.People Management ResponsibilitiesDefines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective implementation of the FAB performance management process.Develops talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals.QualificationsGood Product knowledgeGood understanding of banking industry trends in the local marketGood market awareness of product range and pricingGood analytical skillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related major field of studyMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role
