We are currently hiring for a Site Materials Coordinator to support their client site in Leixlip, Co Kildare. This is a full-time position, initially on a 12-month contract. Monday to Friday. 8am - 4.30pm. This is a hands-on role as well as an admin/coordinator role. Responsibilities of the Site Materials Coordinator:

  • Receive, sort, and verify the quantity of materials for all on-site deliveries.
  • Store materials in the storage cage, accurately tracking their locations.
  • Find and retrieve materials for job orders and parts requests.
  • Prepare materials for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, and loading them.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure precise tracking of materials during any movement within the site.
  • Participate in site safety programs to maintain a zero-hazard environment.
  • Work professionally and build positive customer relationships.
  • Comply with all site fabrication and Subfab protocol requirements.
  • Manage the inventory of test equipment, including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Engineer to ensure calibration equipment compliance.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; work cooperatively in a team environment with a spirit of collaboration.
  • Supervise the assigned material handling team.
  • Follow directions from the supervisor or manager and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Site Materials Coordinator:
  • 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical fields such as electronics, mechanics, chemistry, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in asset management.
  • Must maintain a positive outlook, exhibit high energy and enthusiasm, and show a strong eagerness to learn, with a dedication to achieving excellence.
  • A proactive individual who can establish priorities, take initiative, and complete tasks efficiently. Must be able to follow instructions and make sound independent decisions when necessary.
  • Excellent skills in customer interaction and communication are required.
  • Capable of interpreting engineering drawings and electrical diagrams. Skilled in using test equipment, including various meters, hand tools, and power tools. Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, is essential.
