Our renowned research and healthcare client, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience with supporting the development and delivery of learning products and experiences for professionals.This is a hybrid position (2 days on site, 3 days from home) and offers opportunities for growth and development!RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing instructor-led and/or e-learning courses and workshops and other learning and support materials,Revising existing training curricula based on ongoing needs assessments and evaluation data.Collaborating with subject matter experts, internal and external program stakeholders to plan and execute education and training programs.Strong understanding of continuing and adult education.Knowledge of the healthcare, mental health and addiction systems, digital health solutions, health equity and capacity building with healthcare professionals, is considered an asset.QUALIFICATIONS:3-5+ years of experience with the development and delivery of continuing professional education programmingMaster’s degree in adult education, educational technologies, health science, health promotion, social or behavioural sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience is requiredExperience managing projects, group facilitation and consultation.Knowledge of the healthcare industry is considered a strong asset.Advanced proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Connect is required.
