    Overall Purpose of the Job

    Accurately and efficiently co-ordinate the onsite facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day maintenance planning on the ground. The Facilities Support Manager will also be responsible for liaising closely with the client with day-to-day operational matters.

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Promote and deliver the aims of the Company to meet or exceed the quality levels and customer support objectives central to the Company’s core business.
    • Work closely with a project team and support planning and scheduling facility maintenance.
    • Ensure that control measures are in place to maintain safe working environments for subcontractors.
    • Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the portfolio under your control.
    • Ensure that service delivery is managed in line with the SLA and KPI’s.
    • Establish and manage quality measures and procedures to enable two-way communication, ensuring feedback and continuous improvement.
    • Facilitate and manage training requirements to ensure that contractors are fully trained in all aspects of the service provision.
    • Perform routine maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and surrounding grounds using appropriate tools and equipment.
    • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    • Support validation/quality department with necessary documentation for facility maintenance in line with site operating procedures.
    • Attend frequent meetings to discuss progress of service and arising matters.
    • Ensure safe systems of work are in place for all operations by managing and addressing Health & Safety requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures.
    • Suggest and implement improvements and innovations in service delivery.
    • Form a good working relationship with the Client ensuring satisfaction is sustained at all times.
    • Effectively source and utilize materials and subcontractors.
    • Timely and accurately produce all client reporting requirements, including bespoke reporting/documentation to support Client relationships and develop the contract base.
    • Take on ad hoc projects as deemed necessary by your line manager and the Director.
    • Perform any ad-hoc duties as requested by your line manager.
    • Manage work orders and oversee the maintenance and repair of the building or facility.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Previous experience working in a regulated Client environment.
    • Previous business management experience.
    • Knowledge/experience within the cleaning/security function is essential.
    • Third-level qualification or trade qualification equivalent.
    • Membership in a relevant professional organization.
    • Garda Vetting would be beneficial.
    • Financial and budgetary experience is essential.
    • Project management experience.
    • A full clean driving license is essential for this role.

    Working Pattern

    Mon - Thurs: 8am to 4.30pm Fri: 8am to 3.30pm 39 hours per week
