About Software Development Competency Center: Involves the use of web and back-end technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and tools to create unique custom applications that provide specific functionality to business users. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in Python backend development
- Previous experience with Fast API, GCP Cloud Services, BigQuery

- Core Responsibilities of a Lead Backend Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Collaborating with other team members, including front-end developers and project managers, to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Ensure application security and compliance
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including databases.
- Collaborate with frontend and UX teams to deliver a seamless application experience
- Mentor and train junior developers
- Stay abreast of the latest backend development technologies and trends
- Implement and maintain DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Document code and application architecture

- Manage a team of backend developers
- Assist with architectural and design decisions
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
