The Role Risk Management of accounts payable for the Sandvik Companies in South Africa. Safeguarding the company against risk and ensuring compliance with South African legislation. Enforces and monitors that global internal controls are applied on all foreign and local transactions. Main Responsibilities:

1. Implement and support the development of Accounts Payable policies and rules.
2. Prepare, record, verify, analyze and report accounts payable/receivable transactions.
3. Pay vendor invoices and receive and post customer payments on a timely basis.
4. Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.
5. Prepare analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud.
6. Ensure that transaction entry verification procedures are followed.
7. Coordinate approval roles and limits.
8. Support Sandvik business and External Service Center in relation to escalated invoice mismatches.
9. Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
10. Exhibit attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
11. Maintain a good working knowledge of accounting information while keeping up to date with changing Sandvik financial rules and regulations.
12. Discuss financial issues with both fellow professionals and those with little or no financial background.
13. Be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
14. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Have strong computer literacy; MS Excel is a must.
16. Work independently.

Your Profile:

• Minimum of 5 years Accounts Payable background.
