Job Description :Director Admissions

The Director of Admissions oversees the admissions department and is responsible for establishing, evaluating, promoting, and executing the university's admissions process. This role requires maintaining strong relationships not only within the admissions office but also with all marketable aspects of the university. The Director must stay continually informed about the best features of student life, both on- and off-campus activities, academic programs, extracurricular activities, athletics, internships, and other attractive university offerings.Some of the key responsibilities of Director Admissions are:

Student Recruitment

Lead efforts to recruit students by reaching out to and following up with those who show interest in the university.

Recruitment Engagements

Attend career fairs, college fairs, and other events to inform prospective students about the value of a university education. Provide information to students, parents, and guardians regarding admissions requirements, financial aid applications, and enrollment procedures.

As a primary point of contact, address inquiries from prospective students and their parents who visit in person or reach out through social media, providing information and guidance related to university's admissions and its programs.

Application Review

Oversee the application review process, establishing criteria for evaluating applicants in line with HEC guidelines.

Assist in the admissions decision-making process by reviewing and interpreting student information, such as test scores, GPAs, extracurricular activities, and other applicable relevant factors.

Admissions Process Enhancement

Continuously evaluate and optimize admissions guidelines, processes, and requirements.

Independently assess current admissions procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and propose better solutions, where possible.

Communicate changes, statistics, and other relevant information to the Chairman and Vice Chancellor.

Marketing Development

Develop strategies to attract a large pool of applicant students in all the programs/faculties being offered by the university.

Finalize marketing materials including brochures, pamphlets, videos, social media graphics, and other promotional content.

Student Communication

Maintain contact with prospective students throughout the recruitment process and after acceptance to ensure a smooth transition into university life.

Staff Leadership and Development

Lead, guide, and develop the university's admissions team to promote a culture of collaboration, productivity, and excellence that augment the overall performance of the admissions process.

Job Specification :

Minimum five years of experience in a university's admissions process.

Strong understanding of statistics, admissions requirements and procedures, university funding, and financial aid application processes.

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data.

Excellent planning, marketing, communication, networking, leadership, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Having strong computer skills and experience with relevant software is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work diligently and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
