Project Manager - Cybersecurity

Job Brief:

TheProject Manager - Cybersecurityis responsible for leading and managing cybersecurity projects from initiation through to closure. This role requires a strong focus on project governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will work closely with various teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, monitor and maintain progress of project plans to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality.

Control and report progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner.

Initiate corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.

Continually assess potential risks and issues maintaining risk and issue logs, and contingency plans.

Play a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with key stakeholders.

Identify interdependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.

Ensure appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and managing the availability and performance of those consultants.

Manage routine interactions with client management and sponsorship.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Master's degree is a plus.

Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in complex system implementations.

Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, other ERP systems and Cybersecurity would be beneficial.

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) would be a plus.

Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex projects.

Knowledge of PRINCE 2 and experience of standard Project Management work practices would be an advantage.

MS Project planning experience.

Budget, commercial and Customer experience.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Strong interest in developing PM Capability solutions and methodologies.
