About the job: The Strategic Initiatives/ Execution Manager will be at the forefront of driving transformative projects and initiatives that propel ADC’s strategic objectives forward. The role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the conception, planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives that drive innovation, growth, and operational excellence. This role will foster collaboration and alignment across departments, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of strategic initiatives within established timelines and budgets. This role is also expected to provide strategic insights, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in processes and practices to enhance organizational performance and competitiveness in the digital landscape. Responsibilities :

  • Initiative Identification and Prioritization: Identify and evaluate strategic initiatives, projects, and programs that support the organization's strategic objectives and address critical business needs. Prioritize initiatives based on strategic importance, resource availability, and potential impact on organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across business units, and functional areas to ensure cohesive execution and implementation of strategic initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional teams and working groups to drive collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Project Management and Execution : Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, and provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, employees, customers, and external partners, to gather input, solicit feedback, and communicate progress on strategic initiatives. Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the initiative lifecycle.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies associated with strategic initiatives, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and challenges to project success. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen events and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress, impact, and success of strategic initiatives against predefined goals and objectives. Monitor and analyze performance data, track milestone achievements, and conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate initiative effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging experimentation, creativity, and learning from both successes and failures. Champion the adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and drive organizational efficiency.
Experience And Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management roles, preferably in IT, technology, or digital native organizations with at least 3-4 years of focused experience in leading and managing complex projects and initiatives from initiation to completion and demonstrated experience in strategic planning, development, and execution of initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives with translating strategic vision into actionable plans and driving implementation across the organization.
