CAPEX Procurement Lead

Carbon60’s client within the chemicals industry are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Capital Project (CAPEX) Procurement Lead to support the team and drive success in the project procurement strategies. Contract specifics:

1. Pay rate: £700pd (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
2. Duration: 12 months with potential extension
3. Location: Remote with occasional travel to Clitheroe

• Develop and execute project procurement strategies and approaches for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts align with project delivery and contracting strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to optimize project outcomes.
• Provide regular reporting on procurement performance to leadership teams.

• 7-10 years of experience in project procurement within industrial or construction projects, ideally within the private sector.
• Looking for experience in: Oil & Gas or Pharma or Life Sciences or Chemicals
• Worked on end-to-end CAPEX projects
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing major engineering/contractor firms.
• Knowledge of quality standards, tools, and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field, or MCIPS certification.
