Real Estate Disputes Lawyer

Our customer, a multinational law firm is seeking a Real Estate Disputes Lawyer for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK real estate sector, particularly with issues concerning commercial property. Location: London (Hybrid or Fully Remote after Initial Team Meeting; On-site Team Meeting Required Monthly) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time Preferred; Open to 3-4 Days Per Week for the Right Candidate) Key Responsibilities: Address a broad range of issues related to commercial property, including but not limited to:

• Building Safety Act 2022 compliance
• Disputes concerning fire defects, such as defective cavity barriers and cladding
• Base build defects, including RAAC issues
• Contract disputes
• Break options
• Consent applications
• Service charge disputes
• Dilapidations
• Nuisance issues
• Debt recovery
• Contested and uncontested lease renewals

Experience Required:

• Demonstrated expertise in the UK real estate sector, particularly with commercial property matters
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022
• Proven track record in handling complex disputes and issues related to commercial property
• Experience with a wide range of property-related concerns, from fire safety defects to lease renewals
