About Plasmatreat: Plasmatreat is a medium-sized family-owned company founded in Steinhagen near Bielefeld, Germany in 1995. With the development of the Openair®-Plasma technology, Plasmatreat has established itself as one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of plasma systems as well as globally active service provider in surface technologies. With the aim of expanding our activities in the British market, we are seeking a new technical sales director (m/f/d) who wants to level up the sales process. This role is our most important interface to the customer as our products are technically complex and innovative. It needs a high standard of know-how and experience in sales to explain the vision and mission of Plasmatreat. It is only possible to head this subsidiary with passion for hands-on mentality and competence in building new customer relationships. Responsibilities:
- Increasing the company's infrastructure and developing the market-growing activities
- Implementation of strategic sales and market development goals
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across various companies and industries
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing and post-sales support as well as ensuring a seamless customer journey
- Oversee the forecasts and goals for the market and create a work environment for reaching these goals in an experimental, analytical and precise way
- Be the face of Plasmatreat at local trade fairs and marketing events, ensuring visibility with our products in the British industry
- About 5 years experience in a leading sales position in a technical environment
- Profound knowledge of the British market and special requirements of sales
- Ability to explain technically complex products and topics as well as a hands-on mindset to demonstrate them
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the competency to demonstrate complex technical concepts to various audiences
- Expertise in developing and transferring production solutions to application-related problems
- Affinity for technical topics and complex manufacturing matters
- Interest in travelling and visiting other subsidiaries from time to time
