About Mechanical Project Manager Fawkes and Reece are working with a well known sub-contractor based in SE London. They have a simple leadership hierarchy which means decisions get made promptly and effectively. They operate in multiple sectors across the construction industry including; commercial, residential, hotels, leisure/ education and more. This company also deliver a lot of in house M&E for a larger main contractor, alongside subbing out to well known main contractors in and around London. They require a Mechanical Project Manager to manage all Mechanical packages from cradle to grave. The size of the projects range from £1-£7M MEP, whilst the longevity of each projects are generally 6 months to a year and a half. The chosen candidate will have close contact with all MEP Engineers within the team to ensure the programme is kept to the time schedule and within budget. Requirements for Mechanical Project Manager The chosen candidate needs to have a Mechanical bias, but the client is open minded in terms of previously managing Mechanical or electrical packages. Ideally working closely alongside an electrical engineer or electrical project lead in previous projects. Previous Sub-contractor experience is also preferred, and this candidate must be in a commutable distance to travel into SE London. The chosen candidate should have managed projects at a construction manager/ Project manager level before, having control of a team of skilled MEP individuals to ultimately deliver a project on time. What’s on offer Mechanical Project Manager With all the above being matched, a salary between £65,000 - £75,000 will be on offer, along with a car allowance, private health care and a very competitive pension.
