SENIOR EMPLOYMENT LAWYER / ‘HEAD OF’ ROLE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS LONDON / HYBRID Our client is a household name in the Entertainment industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to join the Legal & Business Affairs team as Head of Complaints Handling Unit. The role will take responsibility for complaints received by the business about the behaviour and conduct of those who work with them. The successful candidate will work with the Legal & Business Affairs team across the business (as necessary), Content Compliance and HR, and will be responsible, amongst other things, for reviewing concerns raised and identifying and recommending an appropriate resolution. Key Responsibilities include:Assessing and triaging concerns raisedSupporting HR (where required) with internal HR investigations or managing these directly (with external support if appropriate) Conducting reviews/investigations as required, including instructing and managing external experts, if appropriateReporting to the Management Board as necessary Supporting and liaising with external complainants and others to ensure concerns/complaints are being handled efficiently and appropriatelyProviding recommendations for effective concern resolution, minimising reputational, commercial and legal risk for the organisation whilst upholding the highest governance and ethical standards We are looking for a highly experienced individual with strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be an exceptional lawyer with a sound understanding and track record of advising in relation to employment law and litigation within a respected commercial environment or at a first class law firm.
