One of the leading startup in Retail industry is looking to hire Business Manager to look after sales / business development and operations at Bengalore The Business Manager for Sales & Operations is responsible for driving the company’s business growth by overseeing both sales performance and operational efficiency. This role ensures alignment between business goals, sales strategies, and day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven sales background, and the ability to optimize business processes to achieve the company's financial and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure consistent performance, pipeline growth, and customer retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and client acquisition costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of campaigns with sales objectives.
Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Optimize operational processes to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve service delivery.
  • Manage budgets, forecast sales, and operational expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR) to align operations with business strategy.
  • Monitor KPIs related to production, service quality, and customer satisfaction, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Leadership & Strategy:
  • Participate in strategic planning, contributing insights into sales trends, operational needs, and business growth opportunities.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives related to sales and operations improvement.
  • Communicate business performance and operational updates to senior management, providing actionable insights.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
