• Work closely with the Australian buying & design teams to understand their product requirements and follow the company’s procedures on the product developments and production process
• Follow-up orders from sample development to bulk production in applying supply management.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure that critical path timeframes are met.
• Communicate with buyers, design and quality team, and suppliers on technical issues and problem resolution.
• Negotiate pricing and production timeframes with suppliers.
• Engage with and influence all key stakeholders across the Globe.
• Keep up to date on trends and innovations in the market.
• Operate across product areas and multiple projects within categories whilst meeting specified timelines.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Babywear Apparel - Preferably in Brands/Buying office.
• Min Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - preferably from textile background.
• Knowledge of the Cost Components related to Apparels.
• Well - Organized, Systematic, detail Oriented, Customer focused, Analytical and Problem Solver.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Particularly in Excel and Powerpoint.
• Ability to operate in a fast paced culture of change
• Excellent product knowledge and understanding of relevant manufacturing processes.
• Attentive to details and able to work under pressure and capable to work independently
• Familiar with Quality standards and Risk Factors for Babywear
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Hindi. Knowing Tamil will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work remotely with the suppliers in other Asian countries.
