As a candidate, we encourage you to have an open dialogue with a member of our HR Team and ask compensation related questions, including pay details for this role.Job Description:We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven wealth executive to lead a team of approximately 7 Senior Regional Managers and 120 Financial Planners in the Eastern Canada (Quebec and Atlantic) region. Financial Planning is a growth engine for TD, so talent acquisition and development is critical to the business at both the planning practitioner level and the leader's roles. The Region Head, Financial Planning reports to the VP, Head of TDW Financial Planning, and will:Create and implement an annual and quarterly business development plan that aligns with the TDW FP strategy and overall Wealth Management strategy, with accountabilities in Practice Leadership, Talent Leadership, Client Experience Leadership, Partner and Community Leadership, and Operational Excellence.Establish and achieve regional business objectives to support national goals. Develop and lead a team of high quality Senior Regional Managers by recruiting, training and coaching team members. Lead and apply sales management best practices.Support and recognize Senior Regional Managers in their personal and professional development.Lead and ensure FPs promote a positive client experience at every client interaction.Ensure Senior Regional Managers and FPs understand and adhere to the appropriate operating policies, procedures, and controls.Establish a strong and productive relationship with TDCT, Wealth and other business partners to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize referral business, and drive results.Actively raise the profile of TDW FP within the community by leading and participating in community and client events.Lead/participate in national projects as required.Job Requirements:Specific Requirements/Accreditations:University or post-graduate degreeCanadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Intuit Quebecois de Planification Financière (IQPF) considered an assetFluency in French (speaking and writing)Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Proven sales management & leadership experience.Results-driven, highly motivated individual with a track record of taking on new challenges and delivering superior results.Embraces change and recognized as a champion for continuous improvement.Outstanding people management, leadership, and coaching skills.Ability to build for the future by attracting and developing the very best people.Strong communicator, with excellent oral, written and presentation skills.Strong relationship management skills, the ability to impact and influence.Solid understanding of TDCT and Wealth management business is an asset.Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
