We are working with a top national law firm who are seeking a Senior Commercial Litigator to join their team in Belfast. The role Our client's Belfast Commercial Litigation team advise and act on a wide range of commercial disputes including corporate, real estate, energy, tech, debt recovery and financial services actions. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigator to help advise their established NI & UK-wide client base and to help grow the team. This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to work on a busy and varied workstream, providing legal advices to a range of commercial clients and attending court on their behalf. Essential Criteria:
- A qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England & Wales with 5+ PQE in Commercial Litigation;
- Experience handling a varied caseload;
- Court experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent research skills;
- Ability to nurture junior lawyers within the team;
- Ability to provide tailored legal advice (often on complex legal issues);
- Ability to problem solve and find commercially viable solutions for commercial clients;
- Interest in business development and creating strong client relationships.
