Overview Brigit’s Bakery is a London based award-winning specialist provider of  Afternoon Tea Experiences . Founded in 2010, the company has quickly established itself as one of London’s best handmade afternoon tea providers. Brigit’s is extremely proud of the service standards and quality of baking provided in its cozy Tea Salon in the heart of Covent Garden, on-board the hugely popular traditional red double decker Routemaster Afternoon Tea Bus Tours, the now famous Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tours and on board our Thames River Cruise. We are looking for a  Production Kitchen Supervisor to supervise daily back of house bakery operations in our Savoury department. Production Kitchen Supervisor responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards, also taking care of the  SALSA standards.  To be successful in this role, you should have  experience in a production kitchen  and be able to manage our Savoury department and guide the team to deliver  quality food on time. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele. Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
  • Supervising sandwiches prep and cooking
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensuring that orders for specialty cakes are completed on time
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the bakery
  • Ensuring that all products are made to the highest quality standards
  • Training and supervising staff members
  • Managing profitability, enforcing food handling practices, and maintaining a clean and organized food preparation area
Requirements and skills · Proven experience as Baking Chef or relevant role · Great attention to detail and creativity · Organizing and leadership skills · Willingness to replenish professional knowledge · In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition · Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)· Certificate in culinary arts, baking or relevant field Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 a year Job Type: Full-time Additional pay:
