User Experience Researcher

User Experience Researcher - Financial Service - £51k to £60k - UK (Remote First) We are working with a well known banking service going through massive growth. With the design team growing they are looking to add 3 User Experience Researchers to join their dynamic team. As a User Researcher, you'll be exploring how people use their products, both the ones they have now and those they are planning to release. You'll study their experiences across different digital platforms, including desktop computers, websites, mobile phones, and tablets. This research will cover both web-based experiences and apps designed specifically for these devices. You will be working with the visual designers, UX designers, product owners and other stakeholders to maximise the experience for their customers. The Role

• You'll use a variety of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, to help the design team deeply understand and connect with customer or user needs.
• You'll advocate for Human-Cantered Design (HCD) by recommending the best UX research practices, principles, and processes.
• Your insights from research or knowledge of psychology and ergonomics will guide the design of solutions.
• Additionally, you'll assist in creating storyboards and journey maps that illustrate how customers interact with, or will interact with, a product, highlighting their goals, motivations, and actions.

• You have experience conducting research in complex, regulated environments or with B2B audiences.
• You should be skilled in using UX design research tools like User Zoom and Figma
• You’re familiar with working with customer data and UX metrics to evaluate the design of customer experiences and understand the impact of ongoing improvements.
• Additionally, you have experience thoroughly exploring accessibility needs and customer vulnerabilities through research.
• Experience of SUS is a plus
