Job Title: Guidewire/Duck Creek Business Analyst Location: Pune (Hinjewadi/Talwade) Grade: C1/C2 Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in insurance products, underwriting, or claims settlement. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and be proficient in Guidewire or Duck Creek platforms. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design and implement business cases, and manage project documentation using Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, ensuring they align with the overall project goals.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in current processes.
Business Case Design & Implementation:
  • Design and implement business cases based on gathered requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Project Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, requirements specifications, and functional designs using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirement Harmonization:
  • Harmonize requirements across different business units or stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with the overall project goals.
  • Facilitate discussions and negotiations to resolve conflicting requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Engage with stakeholders at various levels to manage expectations, provide regular updates, and address any concerns.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
Qualifications: Experience:
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in insurance products, underwriting, or claims settlement.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek platforms is highly desirable.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, business case design, and project documentation.
Good to Have:
  • Experience in requirement harmonization across different business units.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
