Role Summary: The New Installation Supervisor is responsible for the day to day on site installation activities. He will coordinate with technicians, sub-contractor, planning engineer, project manager, project/installation engineer and the main contractor, he will also handle on site quality and safety documentation. Position Location: Dubai, UAE Business Industry: Elevator, Escalator & Moving Walkways Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure that the work is done efficiently and timely, within the planned hours. • Report immediately all safety violations, hazards and issues and ensures that corrective action is applied immediately. • Coordinate the work on site and schedule the technicians and contractors. • Unload material and allocate inside the site in a place with enough security to avoid any damage or loss and arrange shifting as required. • Check the material as per the packing list. • Make sure that delivery note has been signed and stamped by client. • Prepare the site as per the company installation drawings and installation procedures. • Ensure the progress of the site is in line with the estimated budget and approved program. • Apply the latest approved installation methodology and make sure that the installation team follows the same. • Control and maintain the tools and equipment on site, make sure all are certified/PAT tested and in good condition. • Make sure the team is using only approved tools and equipment. • Perform quality checks and ensure high level of quality of installation. • Coordinate with sub-contractors, site construction supervisors, MEP contractors for associated works. • Identify and solve risks which could lead to idle manpower due to lack of worksite preparation. • Give technical support to the costumer on site. • Submit a weekly project progress reports. • Follow up on the filling of the time sheets by the technicians. • Follow the quality procedures of the company, ensure stage-wise installation checks and records. • Clearance of service and client snags while handing over of the project. • Attend and completes on time all assigned trainings and other activities. • Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company. Education and Experience: • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. • 6 to 8 years of elevator experience with at least 2 years in similar position. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes: • Strong Leadership Skills towards Technicians and Adjusters. • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the elevator industry. • Excellent planning and organizational skills. • Leadership capabilities, with the ability to supervise and guide a team of technicians. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, or bending. • Intermediate skills MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). #J-18808-Ljbffr
