Job Responsibilities:
- Control System and Instrumentation in oil & gas projects, especially for onshore fields.
- Involvement in all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering).
- Proficient in codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, including API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA.
- Adept at designing and engineering Instruments and control systems such as DCS (Conventional & Field bus), Fire & Gas, Safety shutdown systems, Remote telemetry units, Gas metering systems, SMART instruments, Liquid metering systems, Multiphase flow meter, High integrity pressure protection systems (HIPPS), HVAC, and field instruments like transmitters, Control valves, Shut down Valves, and Choke Valves.
- Strong knowledge of International Structural codes (i.e., API, AISC, DNV, Eurocode) and TOTAL General Specifications related to structures.
- Supervision and coordination of ICSS Engineering of EPC Contractors.
- Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines.
- Preparation of technical papers to support management positions for clarifications/decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities, or partners.
- Coordination of deviation requests to the project referential, in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule.
- Participation during key project reviews, including plot plan reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability reviews, and design/model review meetings.
- Review of ICSS documents in accordance with industry standards, codes, and Company specifications such as drawings and calculation notes.
- Ensuring adherence to technical rules on construction discipline (correct usage of Company General Specifications and international norms) in ICSS.
- Ensuring all interfaces with other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
- Providing support for possible technical queries and derogations to Project specifications (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting).
- Contributing to the evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and review/approval of deliverables from the design contractor - Engineering drawings, calculation notes, specifications, and procedures.
- Complying with HSE requirements and supporting and enforcing the HSE Project objectives and directives.
- Supporting and implementing the Project HSE management system (plans, procedures, and specifications).
