Location: Remote or Ottawa (180 Kent Street)Security Level: ReliabilityThe OpportunityOur client is seeking a SharePoint Technology Architect to lead the migration of their intranet to a modern SharePoint Online platform. This project will leverage Microsoft 365 technologies to improve collaboration, communication, and security.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze current intranet infrastructure and content.Design and implement a secure SharePoint architecture.Migrate content and data from the legacy system.Customize the SharePoint environment for optimal user experience.Develop a communication plan and establish user training programs.Ensure ongoing maintenance and updates.Qualifications5+ years of experience developing SharePoint migration strategies.Proven experience migrating from WET/PHP to SharePoint Online.Experience writing scripts to automate data migration.Experience leading all stages of a migration project.Strong project management and documentation skills.Bonus PointsExperience supporting Cloud Application Platforms and M365 environments.Experience developing user training materials.
