Financial Planning & Analysis professionals (UAE National)Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 05/23/2024Consultz is supporting a well-renowned Investment Management company in their search for Financial Planning & Analysis professionals. There are a few vacancies from junior to mid-management level.Lead the financial planning, analysis, management reporting and finance business partnering for the assigned clusters within the company.Analyze, interpret & communicate financial results (including variance to budget and prior years) to internal stakeholders with strong analysis, insights and recommendations.Enhance reporting using BI tools (e.g. ThinkCell, PowerBI) to ensure comprehensive financial visibility and to provide new insights to management.Develop a solid understanding of the portfolio companies within the assigned clusters, their core business activities and financial position/structure. Recommend opportunities to drive value creation (e.g. across P&L, working capital, ROE etc.).Participate in asset budgeting process, engaging in constructive dialogue & challenging assumptions. Consolidate the 5-year cluster financial business plan incorporating opex, capex and capital investment requirements.Prepare quarterly financial forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow statements).Support the annual funding process with the Department of Finance, aligning budgets and securing funding for key CAPEX projects and OPEX grants (where relevant for the clusters).Collaborate with other members of the FP&A team.Ensure other finance teams within the company (tax, treasury & accounting) are aware of relevant cluster developments and involved where needed.Participate in the management of ad hoc internal audit and risk management requirements and support annual external audit requirements where required.Requirements• Bachelor's degree in business administration/ accounting or finance.• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA or CFA is mandatory.• 5 to 15 years of relevant FP&A work experience with Big 4 / Multi-national group or similar organization.
