Technical Project Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing software development projects, with a focus on automation and AI. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. As a remote position, this role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Execution Management: Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and adherence to project schedules. Manage day-to-day tasks, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and manage expectations effectively.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. Oversee testing and validation processes, and manage any necessary revisions or improvements.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints. Report on budget status and variances as needed.
• Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to help them achieve their best work.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate project processes and methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in software development, with a focus on automation and AI projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), automation tools, and AI technologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively address them.
• Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana), collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams), and familiarity with software development tools.
