Summary of the JobThe primary role of a Security Superintendent is to oversee and manage all security operations within an organization. This includes implementing and enforcing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and developing technical strategies to protect the organization's assets, employees, and stakeholders. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as being responsible for coordinating security efforts and providing guidance to the team.Additionally, the Security Superintendent must stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry trends. This will involve conducting research, attending relevant training sessions, and continuously evaluating and improving security measures within the organization.Job Purpose / ObjectiveThe primary role of a Security Superintendent is to oversee and manage all security operations within an organization. This includes implementing and enforcing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and developing technical strategies to protect the organization's assets, employees, and stakeholders.Key AccountabilitiesTechnically develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures for the organization.Manage and oversee all security operations, including physical security, access control, and CCTV surveillance.Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures.Provide leadership and supervision to security personnel, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.Collaborate with other departments to establish and enhance security protocols across the organization.Conduct regular KPI audits and inspections to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.Investigate and resolve security incidents, including theft and unauthorized access within the premises.Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services in the event of an incident or crisis.Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.Manage the security budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.Develop and maintain strong relationships with external security vendors and contractors.Participate in internal and external security audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on technical security and operations activities.Plan employee training and awareness sessions on security protocols and best practices.Implement and maintain an emergency response plan, including evacuations and emergency drills.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.Professional QualificationsCertified Protection ProfessionalCertified Security ProfessionalOther relevant security certifications.CompetenciesStrong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of security personnel.Strong analytical thinking skills to assess potential security risks and make informed decisions.Problem-solving ability to handle technical and operational challenges.Excellent communication skills to convey security protocols and expectations.Technically knowledgeable about security technology and systems.ExperienceAt least 9-15 years of related experience.LanguagesExcellent communication skills in English & Arabic (oral & written).Working RelationsInternal InteractionsISF team, Fire, other departments, all stakeholders as required.External InteractionsClients, suppliers, government sectors, and external stakeholders.About Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome your application.
