Job Description:

You as a Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms, ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities:

Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team and qualifying them with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.

Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions.

Adapting corporate contractual framework to local business needs and recommending frame agreements to management for execution upon approval.

Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.

Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing.

Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.

Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system according to Purchase Requisitions and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements.

Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements based on ERP or SOP/project requirements regarding content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.

Conducting all Procurement and Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in Pro-Supply procedure.

Your background:

A bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing supply chain activities in the power/energy/manufacturing industry.

Hands-on experience in SAP/MM module.

Experience in MS Office suite.

Proven knowledge in P2P process and system.

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
