About the Role:

A Talent Bank that functions to provide capacity building programmes to develop leaders in three tracks: i. professional leaders, ii. business leaders, and iii. community leaders, is hiring a dynamic Head of Department to establish and lead our Talent Development Programme's Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent assessment, career coaching, and leadership module design to develop and execute capacity building programmes for identified talents across the three leader tracks. The Head of Department is responsible for driving initiatives that nurture and develop individuals to excel in their respective fields and industries by providing comprehensive career development pathways and structured leadership programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Assessment and Development:
  • Design and implement talent assessment processes.
  • Evaluate talents’ capabilities and identify development areas.
  • Monitor talents’ performance against individual development plans.
  • Develop and refine programme framework to meet talent development programme’s target outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to enhance programme performance.
Career Coaching and Progression:
  • Deliver personalized career coaching and toolkits.
  • Guide career aspirations and growth.
  • Establish Nurture and Development Programme framework for identified three leader tracks.
  • Identify potential improvements and enhancements to career coaching programmes.
Leadership Initiatives:
  • Develop leadership programmes for talents.
  • Design mentorship programme for emerging leaders.
  • Translate principles into learning and development programmes.
  • Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Min 15 years’ working experience in managing talent, including 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Possess relevant professional certificate (e.g., HRCI, SHRM) in an added advantage. Career Coaching certification (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective development programs and tools.
  • Proven experience in talent management, leadership development, or organizational development.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
