Quality Assurance Analyst

The RoleWe are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) and Support Analyst to join our dynamic team at IPH Limited in Toronto, Ottawa and/or Montreal.As a QA and Support Analyst, you will ensure the quality delivery of our software products, including both COTS-based solutions and internally developed tools. Your role will involve defining testing standards, performing test activities, and providing support to triage and address issues. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of our software solutions.The role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized individual capable of handling multiple projects and providing essential support to our technology and business operations.Responsibilities:Supporting and participating in the software testing cycle, including creating and executing test strategies, detailed test plans, and regression testing.Documenting test cases, test results, and leading the implementation of automated testing capabilities as needed.Creating and maintaining system and process documentation within the Knowledge Management platform.Providing second-tier support for IP Management systems and handling issues raised via Zendesk.Preparing ‘what’s new’ documents and guides/manuals for development projects.Maintaining knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., CIPO, WIPO) and business environments.Providing training and support to first-tier support teams and assisting with internal education/training activities.Supporting the Development team to ensure clear project requirements and improve development quality.Participating in business stakeholder and internal project meetings and assisting with handovers from projects to BAU support.Engaging with third-party vendors for test execution and defect investigation.Adhering to IPH measures to protect IT against cybersecurity threats and breaches.Knowledge and Experience:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of relevant work experience in technology delivery or the IP domain.Proven analytical abilities and strong technical writing/documentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Visio or equivalent solutions.ITIL, Lean, or Agile certification and experience is an asset.Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.Proficient in English; French language skills are considered an asset.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.About Us:IPH Limited is the holding company for intellectual property (“IP”) and associated companies offering a wide range of IP services and products.
