Job Responsibility
- Pursue overdue debtors, constant follow-up on outstanding invoices and take proactive action.
- Ensure collections are promptly deposited in a timely manner.
- Prepare reminder emails/calls on overdue debts.
- Update debt status on a weekly basis.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Maintain petty cash records and cash book data entry.
- Maintain accurate records of accounting entries and ensure that accounts are up-to-date at all times.
- Assist in month-end closing, including journals, account analysis, and review of accounts.
- Maintain fixed assets registers.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by HOD/Management.
Job Requirements
- Certificate in accounting, LCCI or its equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or candidate with at least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
- Pleasant and good interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
