Job Description:
- Lead the development and operation of software systems within the department.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Manage a team of software developers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to align software development efforts with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (usually 2+ years) in software development, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps.
- Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the department's operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Experience with project management tools and processes.
- A commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- High experience with MVC framework (Laravel & CodeIgniter).
- Git-related experience, being familiar with source control system branching, merging, and versioning.
