Staff /Principal Test Engineer - Automation/Cypress/Salesforce

Hands-on and be able to work cypress with JS, GitHub Actions, Qase.io,BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API/ DB Responsibilities

• As a seasoned QA resource in project teams, provide expert opinion and guidance on business & quality parameters
• Demonstrate leadership within project teams to take on additional responsibilities as and when required and encourage cohesion & team building
• Proactively plan and strategies with the team on possible issues and suggest workable alternatives
• Assist Project Manager in requirements gathering
• Devise and align test strategy w.r.t software development model Scrum, Kanban, CI/CT, etc.
• Ensure the functional and non-functional requirements of the project are met
• Deep knowledge of test automation strategies and automation principles
• Develop test automation framework, and continue to enhance and modify based on project needs
• Review test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated)
• Ensure that manual and automation test execution are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures

• Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in CS or EE field
• 7 - 10years of experience in developing n-tier applications
• Hands-on and be able to work cypress with JS, GitHub Actions, Qase.io,BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API/ DB
• Troubleshoot basic issues with a Linux system and should be comfortable with CLI tools, SSH etc.
• Ideal if their current test scripts are written in Perl
• Some bits of TA (test automation) systems are written in Python
• Good knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash or equivalent)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in the night shift (12:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
