About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi We are looking for a Manager Group Financial Reporting to join our Group Financial Reporting (GFR) lead team. In this highly influential role, you will have a variety of responsibilities. You will facilitate the completion of financial statements and also apply your sound financial accounting knowledge to assist in the accounting for key cloud based computing projects and revenue contracts to ensure our financial statements are high quality and on-time. You will deal with a vast range of stakeholders, including finance professionals and IT team members. About you | Ko wai koe As a financial accountant, preferably with experience in capital accounting, you possess an understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards with a willingness to expand this knowledge further. You can effectively manage a variety of stakeholders with different skill sets and competing priorities. As a confident communicator with an analytical mindset, you are capable of balancing detailed accounting work with long-term planning. Minimum requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, or relevant discipline
  2. Qualified CA of NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, or equivalent
  3. Experience in determining the correct accounting treatment of various transaction types
  4. Previous capital accounting / IT or revenue accounting experience, or similar skillsets
