Reporting To:Deputy Director

Employment Type:Full Time (Contractual)

Location:Karachi, Pakistan

Job Purpose:The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the project in the selected districts of Sindh. H/she will supervise the project staff and field team, ensure implementation as per protocols, and provide timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and programmatic support to the project by implementing and assessing the performance of the project.

Perform regular project monitoring and evaluation functions, identify implementation challenges and operational and strategic issues, and recommend appropriate solutions and courses of action.

Supervise staff training and provide managerial support to project staff (including field teams) stationed at the project site.

Supervise data analysis to help support project strategic direction and assist with project budgeting and maintaining project expense reports in collaboration with the finance department.

Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, and the Government on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.

Conduct field visits to assess the challenges and facilitate implementation as needed.

Establish robust quality assurance mechanisms to deliver required services at the highest standards.

Conduct thorough and regular assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and take timely corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.

Supervise and monitor the field and project team to ensure all field operations are executed according to defined SOPs.

Ensure queries reported to the helpline are adequately resolved within timelines.

Attend weekly and periodic meetings to report progress and challenges.

Any other responsibility assigned by the line manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA):

Required Qualification:

Master's degree in public health, Social Science, Economics, Epidemiology, International Development, or other related fields.

Required Experience:

At least 5-7 years of relevant research experience. A background in leading, coordinating, and implementing research activities in low-middle-income countries is highly preferable.

Required Skills:

Self-motivated, a fast learner who is ready to hit the ground running.

Organised and detail-oriented, and problem-solver with analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and under tight timelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Available for local travel up to 20% as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
